The neighbourhood

A part of Athens
that is still lived in

Ivélia sits a short walk from Victoria Metro Station, in a characterful 1950s building in central Athens. It is a working neighbourhood rather than a postcard one: bakeries that open early, mini-markets, cafés where the same people sit every morning.

The historic centre is a few stops away on the metro. You get the city at arm's length, and somewhere quiet to come back to.

Why here

The right kind of place

📍

Central, without being on a tour route

Victoria puts you inside the city rather than beside its monuments. The centre is a few minutes away on the metro, but the street you come home to belongs to the people who live on it.

🚶

Everything on foot, the rest on the metro

Coffee, bread, dinner and a mini-market are all within the immediate area. For everything further — the Acropolis, Plaka, the museums — the station is a short walk and no car is needed.

🏛

A 1950s building with its details intact

Restored wooden floors and the original architectural details of the period, kept rather than covered over, and paired with contemporary design and modern comforts.
